WHSA Quarterly Meetings

WHSA Quarterly meetings invite management level staff from various service areas to receive timely updates from state departments or organizations, participate in content training in a position-related area, and connect with peers during structured networking.

In order to maximize the worth of WHSA trainings to Wisconsin Head Start & Early Head Start programs, professional development content for each Quarterly meeting is coordinated to support program needs as formally assessed through both the Wisconsin Head Start State Collaboration Office (HSSCO) and the Head Start Training & Technical Assistance system.

Managers from the following service areas meet once per year:

  • Disabilities Service (Fall Quarterly)
  • Early Childhood Education (Fall Quarterly)
  • ERSEA – Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance (Winter Quarterly)
  • Family & Community Partnerships (Spring Quarterly)
  • Fiscal Services (Summer Quarterly)
  • Health & Nutrition (Winter Quarterly)
  • Human Resources (Summer Quarterly)
  • Technology Services (Summer Quarterly)
  • Transportation Services (Winter Quarterly)

Prior to a specific Quarterly meeting, event information including meeting dates, location, and content are posted under the “Events” tab on the WHSA homepage and calendar.
